Delicious Ground Beef for Tacos
A deliciously authentic blend of homemade spices, ground beef, and beans! It is an easy recipe to spice up your taco night.
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 brown onion chopped
- 2 garlic cloves chopped
- 500 g ground beef organic, grass-fed
- 3 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp corriander
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp vegetable bouillon
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cans of crushed tomatoes (15 ounces each)
- 2 cans of beans (15 ounces each) drained. I like to use kidney beans but black beans work well to!
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat
Cook the onions and garlic until fragrant about 2-3 min
Add the ground beef and cook till it is browned and crumbly
Add all the spices and stir through
Combine the tomatoes and drained beans and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce to a low heat and simmer for about 30-40min with the lid partially on and stirring occasionally. You want some of the sauce to reduce so it's nice and thick.
Serve on top of home cooked tacos and dress with a blend of veggies, guacamole, yogurt and cheese!
